Terms & Conditions

Please thoroughly review the terms and conditions of the agreement before we commence work to understand our service expectations.

Description of Binding Agreement

This document serves as a legally binding agreement between the home/property owner, and/or property manager now identified as "client", and Mitchell Exterior Solutions LLC and its owners, employees and subcontractors, now identified as "Company," for the execution of services in exchange for payment for residential or commercial outdoor cleaning including pressure washing and non-pressure washing. The services that Mitchell Exterior Solutions LLC provide to you are subject to the following terms, and we reserve the right to update the terms and conditions anytime without notice. You can review the terms and conditions by clicking the terms and conditions links via our website, email communications or any other communications such as quotes and invoices.

Acceptance to terms

By accepting the quotation/estimate with Mitchell Exterior Solutions LLC, the client agrees to all terms and conditions in this agreement and authorizes the company to do the service at an agreed-upon price.

Product Warranties

All warranties are limited to those offered by the manufacturers of the products used. Mitchell Exterior Solutions LLC makes no additional warranties. If you ever have a concern regarding our work, a Mitchell Exterior Solutions LLC Management member should be notified immediately.

Authorization

The client agrees to allow Mitchell Exterior Solutions LLC on the property for cleaning services. The client understands that the completion of service has no set timeframe and may require several visits to the property. In addition, the cleaning service may need to move to the next available time if unforeseen circumstances like bad weather should arise. The client understands that the Company will do their best to accommodate immediate reschedule but must work around other scheduled clients and weather. The Company also has permission to visit the property with little or no notice to assess service needs before the service date and to check completion after services have been rendered.

Water usage

The client agrees to allow Mitchell Exterior Solutions LLC to utilize an on-site water supply to complete the cleaning services without compensation. The water supply must be available via an outdoor tap, which will be turned on and easily accessible on the service date. If on well water, or if in an area with low water pressure or volume, the client agrees to cease all water consumption inside the home, including faucets, dishwashers, washing machines, outdoor sprinkler systems etc. Extra fees will be incurred in the absence of water availability.

Electrical

The Company suggests the client utilize their property's safety switch or circuit breaker to shut off power to any exterior outlets, light fixtures, or electrically powered features. Especially important for outlets that are not covered with exterior covers.

Inspection

On the service date, Mitchell Exterior Solutions LLC will inspect the property before cleaning is started to note and photograph any/all pre-existing damage on the field for our records.

Damages

Technicians at Mitchell Exterior Solutions LLC use specialized equipment and cleaning agents, ensuring that they take all necessary precautions to prevent any harm or damage to property. They employ safe cleaning methods, utilizing low-pressure techniques for sensitive surfaces like sidings and roofs. However, damage can still occur due to poor maintenance, neglect of the property, or low-grade building materials. Mitchell Exterior Solutions LLC is not responsible for damages due to, including but not limited to, improperly installed siding, loose shingles or siding, broken or opened windows, improperly sealed windows and doors, wood rot, defective construction, improperly secured wires, loose or improperly installed gutters and leaders, and improper caulking. To avoid potential defects, the client should have routine maintenance on their property following the manufacturer's recommendation. Before washing the home, the client must address any areas of concern to ensure a watertight seal to prevent damage. The client assumes all the risk and takes responsibility for any damage due to the above explanations.

Plant/Landscaping

Mitchell Exterior Solutions LLC will not be responsible for plants that become shocked or damaged by water and/or chemicals needed to clean the surfaces of the property properly. The client is responsible for covering any plants that are sensitive to chemicals and/or overwatering.

Oxidation

Property that has not been maintained or has contact with sun exposure may be susceptible to oxidation. Signs of oxidation often manifest as discoloration, fading, or a chalky residue on surfaces like siding, trim, or metal fixtures. The client understands that oxidation and other blemishes will be noticeable after cleaning, especially on surfaces covered with debris. Mitchell Exterior Solutions LLC will not be responsible for such conditions.

Stains

The client understands that some stains cannot be removed. Tree sap, artillery fungus, rust and oil stains, splatters from stains and paints are examples of materials that are not guaranteed to be removed completely during cleaning services. Sometimes, these stains cannot be removed at all.

Window Screens

Mitchell Exterior Solutions LLC will not remove window screens. If the client wishes for window screens to be removed is the responsibility of the client to do so before the date of service. The client understands that some window screens are delicate and brittle and are susceptible to damage during house cleaning. Mitchell Exterior Solutions LLC is not responsible for window screen damage due to improper maintenance. The client also understands that windows may become water spotted as a result of our services.

Watertight

Mitchell Exterior Solutions LLC expects your property to be in good repair and weathertight. This includes but is not limited to all electrical services including receptacles and light fixtures. Doors and windows shall also be weathertight. Mitchell Exterior Solutions LLC is not responsible for damages as a result of water infiltration from poor/improper installation or maintenance, nor repair of electrical-related items or doors or windows.

Removal & Replacement of Outdoor Contents:

Removal and replacement of, including but not limited to, grills, outdoor furniture, planters, and any other items are the responsibility of the homeowner. Should we need to remove items, we will not be responsible for any damage, breakage or for storage issues. An additional charge may be applied for the time and labor devoted to the removal and replacement of these items.

Concrete

The visual characteristics of concrete are influenced by several factors primarily associated with the timing of its pouring and curing process. Upon cleaning concrete that has been affected by dirt, mold, mildew, algae, and various pollutants, any imperfections concealed by these contaminants will become visible. It is important for the customer to recognize that concrete surfaces, even within the same driveway, patio, sidewalk, or slab, may exhibit variations in appearance.

Courtesy and Safety

While Mitchell Exterior Solutions LLC is on location and performing work the client is responsible for keeping all children and pets, as well as other individuals away from the work area. People and pets should be kept off the work surface for at least 24 hours after our work is completed. Common courtesy is expected of the client and others present. Please understand that Mitchell Exterior Solutions LLC will refuse to service any client disrespectful to any of our team members and/or property.

On The Day of Service:

1. Please have a water spigot or outdoor tap activated and accessible.

2. During cleaning services, please have all windows and doors shut tightly.

3. Please have all pets and children inside before and during cleaning.

4. Please clear the work areas of all items and remove all flags, doormats, outdoor furniture, vehicles, and/or any sensitive materials from the areas to be cleaned for work efficiency and safety, and to avoid damage.

Exclusions:

• There is a $50.00 cancellation fee if notice is not received within 48 hours of service or if the team of Mitchell Exterior Solutions LLC arrives and cannot wash due to steps 1-4 not being completed.

• Mitchell Exterior Solutions LLC is not responsible for water intrusion. While every effort is made to prevent this, bad seals around windows and doors and cracks in concrete foundations can make this unavoidable.

• Mitchell Exterior Solutions LLC will do the job to the best possible result. This agreement to provide services is in no way a guarantee that it will remove stains completely.

• Notify us if surfaces on or near the area cannot have any form of cleaning solution on them. If we did not receive notification before the service Mitchell Exterior Solutions LLC is not responsible for any ill effects on any surface.

Media Release

The client agrees to allow Mitchell Exterior Solutions LLC to use any photos, descriptions, reviews, quotes, or videos of the property or the client in the context of marketing or advertising. The client must inform before the service if they do not want content utilized. The Company will use photos, descriptions, reviews, quotes, or videos without compensation to the client. Mitchell Exterior Solutions LLC will use the media for marketing and training purposes only. The client agrees not to seek punitive action in a civil court of law regarding the development, display, reproduction, or printing of the above examples of media. Including the use of photos, reviews and videos posted or displayed on online venues such as social media and the Company's website.

Quotes

Quotes are valid for 30 days. Mitchell Exterior Solutions LLC will only do the job described in the quote. Any additional services requested before or on the day of service will incur additional charges.

Payment

Payments to Mitchell Exterior Solutions LLC are due as per the contract schedule and are to be paid by check or cash. All balances are ALWAYS due upon completion of the job. Any variance to this policy must be agreed upon and in writing in contract.

If any damage occurs

Mitchell Exterior Solutions LLC is obligated under our terms and conditions for any damage resulting from negligence, willful misconduct and operator error.

Discovered damage must be reported within three days of service completion. The Company will be allowed 30 calendar days from the date of written receipt to inspect the premises and have the sole option of repairing or contracting repair to any damages resulting from negligence.

Please review the estimate and/or invoice form in its entirety. Any errors on estimate must be corrected by the listed client before service begins.
